This is a view from Telescope Hill, looking to eucaliptus lined Arastradero Rd. The ridges in the back are in Portola Valley, and of course Skyline Ridge. In the foreground are Valley Oaks and two deer under a tree. I enjoy painting the different trees The eucaliptus are absolutely enormous dwarfing the might oaks. Just out of sight, but between the close trees and the eucaliptus trees is HWY 280, called the most scenic HWY in America. You can visit Telescope Hill. It is off Foothill Expw. There is a guard on duty, and sadly, Stanford no longer allows dogs on the hill.
