This work, too, has some very small details. It you look into the meadow, you will see small wildflowers, like gentium, paintbrush and owl's clover. Broken glacier polished granite is snuggled by deep rich meadow. There is a bit of a tug of war between the water, beach and meadow. The reflection in rippled water entrance me to paint. This work was inspired by my experience in Cistor Lake, Yosemite. It is west of the Pacific Crest. This was a good day to be in the high country — no thunderstorms in sight.
