This is the view from my cabin near sunset. It overlooks Edgewood Co. Park. In the distance is foggy Skyline Ridge, where HWY 35 wends its way. Crystal Springs Res. is under the fog to the far right of this work. The painting was done in early summer. Patches of magenta, 'Farewell to Spring' or Clarkia mix into the grassy hillside. The fog, my favorite subject, is pulled down from Skyline Ridge in an ever changing drama. I can almost feel the cool breeze coming from the mountain.
